    Dear @Eidsvold Tyre Solutions,

Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

To better clarify the situation: based on what you described, the issue is likely not with your email account itself, but with a security or configuration restriction that is preventing the email from being connected to your computer.

For better assist, please kindly let me know some information:

    1. Are you experiencing the same issue in the desktop Outlook app as well? Also, are you currently using the new Outlook or classic Outlook?
    2. Are there any other users within your tenant who are experiencing the same issue?
    3. Have you encountered any specific error message or error code? If possible, please provide a screenshot of the error and share it with me. This will help me better understand the issue and assist you more effectively.

In many cases, this can be caused by one of the following:

    • Security policies on the account (for example, work or school accounts may block certain devices or email apps).
    • Network or device restrictions, such as VPNs, firewalls, or managed computers.
    • The email app using an unsupported sign-in method.

As a quick check, please kindly try these following steps below:

    1. Could you please try accessing Outlook on the web using an incognito or private browser window and check if it works?
    2. If you are using a VPN or work network, temporarily disconnect and test again.
    3. When adding the account to Outlook, make sure you select Microsoft 365 / Exchange (not POP or IMAP).
    4. If you are also using classic Outlook on your computer, please start Outlook in safe mode, select the Windows Start button. In the search box, type outlook.exe /safe and press Enter. Additionally, please try creating a new email profile, visit Create an Outlook profile.

If this is a work or school account and the issue still persists, I recommend contacting your organization’s IT administrator so they can review any security or device policies that may be blocking the connection.

If you’re unsure who the Global Admin is within your organization, you can find guidance on locating them here: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Please let me know what you see when you test the steps above, and I’ll be happy to assist further.
