Can't login to hotmail account

I've had this account for about 25 years. Don't have the same cell number and can't remember zip code when i set it up or the security questions. Not having a number to talk to a rep is a joke for this company. What can I do? I have several other services tied to this email account that I can't access and its costing me money.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Since you do not have access to the verification method (your recovery phone number), I'm afraid the only way to recover the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Lastly, Microsoft Support will not be able to assist you with manual recovery and escalation for this case, as stated in this article, that they are not permitted to send password resets, access, or even change any details on the account:

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

To regain access to your Hotmail account, you can follow these steps:

    1. Account Recovery Form: Go to the official Microsoft account recovery page at https://account.live.com/acsr. Choose the option for "I forgot my password" and follow the prompts. Since you don't have access to your old phone number or remember the security questions, provide as much information as possible about your account, such as recent email subjects, folder names, and contacts you've emailed.
    2. Alternative Recovery Options: If you have any alternate email addresses or recovery options set up, use those to receive a verification code.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the recovery options do not work, you can contact Microsoft Support for assistance. Visit https://support.microsoft.com/contactus and select "Microsoft account & billing" followed by "Password reset or account recovery." Depending on your region, you may have options for chat support or a callback.
    4. Be Persistent: If you encounter issues with the recovery form or are blocked from logging in, it may take some time for Microsoft to resolve these issues. Be persistent in reaching out to their support team for help.

Please note that without access to your recovery methods, it may be challenging to regain access, but providing detailed information during the recovery process can help.
