An integrated threat protection solution designed to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats across Microsoft 365 services.
Hello Chandler Conner,
Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand how concerning it is to see a recurring $16.49 charge when you believe there is no active subscription.
The description “MICROSOFT*14 DAY TRIAL REDMOND WA” usually means a free trial such as Microsoft 365 was started on this card and recurring billing continued after the trial ended, even if the subscription is not obvious at first glance in the account.
To stop the charge, the most reliable approach is to sign in to the Microsoft account that may have been used and review the billing and order history to look for any active or hidden subscriptions, then turn off recurring billing or cancel it if found. Or you can visit this link and follow the prompts: Turn recurring billing on or off for a Microsoft subscription
If nothing appears under any Microsoft account you own, the charge should be treated as unrecognized and handled by Microsoft Support or directly through the bank to block further payments:
- Go to Contact Us - Microsoft and sign in your account.
- Type Billing and payment in the search box.
- Click Get help and Select Contact Support.
- Choose Microsoft 365 and Office as Products and Services; and Billing and payment updates as Category
- Click Confirm.
- You can choose to chat with a support representative.
Note: The chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.
