Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please confirm whether you are experiencing the same issue with all of your Bluetooth audio devices?

To pair your AirPods, press and hold the power button on the AirPods case for about 10-15 secs until the light turns red and then white.

    • For AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 (both models), double-tap the front of the case until the status light flashes white.

The white light indicates that your AirPods are in pairing mode.

If you are still not seeing the AirPods on your Windows tablet even after putting the headphones in pairing mode,

First, try running the Bluetooth Troubleshooter in System Settings.

    Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Bluetooth > Run.

    • Once complete, restart your PC and pair your AirPods 4.

If you are still having trouble,

    1. Open the Device Manager.
    2. Expand the arrow next to Bluetooth.
    3. Right-click your default Bluetooth driver (Realtek or Intel), select Uninstall device, then select the 'attempt to remove the driver software for this device' check box, and then click Uninstall.
    4. Once uninstalled, restart your computer.
    5. Go to Bluetooth settings > Add a device > Connect your AirPods. (Ensure it is in pairing mode)
    6. Once connected, set it as the default audio output device and see if it is working.

To connect your AirPods to your tablet PC, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled: Check that Bluetooth is turned on in your tablet's settings. You can usually find this in the settings menu under "Devices" or "Bluetooth".
    2. Put AirPods in Pairing Mode: Since your AirPods do not have a pairing button, you can put them in pairing mode by placing them in the charging case, opening the lid, and then holding the button on the back of the case until the LED light starts flashing white.
    3. Add Bluetooth Device: On your tablet, go to the Bluetooth settings and look for an option to add a new Bluetooth device. Your AirPods should appear in the list of available devices. If they do not appear, try refreshing the list or restarting your tablet.
    4. Remove Other Devices: If you have other Bluetooth devices connected, disconnect them as they might interfere with the pairing process.
    5. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Ensure that your tablet's Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can check for updates in the device manager or settings.
    6. Troubleshoot Bluetooth: If the above steps do not work, run the Bluetooth troubleshooter from the settings to identify any issues.

Following these steps should help you connect your AirPods to your tablet PC successfully.
