Perform a Clean Boot
- Press Windows + R > run
msconfig - In the System Configuration window > Services tab > Hide all Microsoft services > Disable all.
- Go to the Startup tab > Open Task Manager.
- In Task Manager, disable all startup items.
- Close Task Manager and click OK in System Configuration.
- Restart your computer.
Run an In-Place Repair
- Download the latest Windows 10/11 ISO from Download Windows 11
- Double-click the ISO file to mount it, then run
setup.exe. - When prompted, select Download and install updates.
- Choose Keep personal files and apps when asked.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the repair installation.
- Your PC will restart several times during the process.
