Authenticator - Unable to create backup, change email or delete old backup
Hi,
I’m currently unable to create a new cloud backup in Microsoft Authenticator, and I’m also unable to delete the existing backup.
The current backup is several months old, so uninstalling and reinstalling the app isn’t really an option for me as I risk losing more recent accounts.
When I try to sign in to create a new backup, I receive the following error message:
“Something went wrong. Please send us logs using the Send logs option.”
I have already used the Send logs option but have not received any response.
App version: 6.2601.0189
System: Android
Device: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a workaround? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
