    Hi @Sunil Bhutra

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding that the Teams recording showing error after showing saving for 30 minutes.  I’d like to gather a few additional details to better understand what’s happening and assist you more effectively:

1/Could you confirm where the recording was expected to be saved?  If you are unsure, please specify whether the meeting was:

    a channel meeting, or

    a private or scheduled meeting.

2/ Please check whether any recording file appears in the following locations:

    OneDrive → Recordings folder

SharePoint site → Documents → Recordings folder  (You may simply inform me whether you see any file present.)

3/ Did this occur only once, or have multiple meeting recordings failed?

4/Are recordings from other recent meetings accessible and functioning correctly for you or your colleagues?

5/Did you initiate the recording yourself, or was it started by another participant?

Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.

I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!

Check the meeting chat, your Microsoft OneDrive “Recordings” folder, or the related Microsoft SharePoint site. If it’s not there, it usually cannot be recovered and you’ll need to contact your IT admin.

If you encounter an error stating that something went wrong with the recording in Microsoft Teams, it typically indicates that the recording did not complete successfully. Unfortunately, if the recording shows an error and states that no audio, video, or sharing was captured, it may not be retrievable. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Check Storage: Ensure that the organizer has enough storage in OneDrive or SharePoint, as insufficient storage can lead to recording issues.
    2. Download Attempts: If the recording is still visible in the Teams interface, try refreshing the page or restarting Teams to see if it allows you to download it again.
    3. Contact Support: If the issue persists, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance, especially if this is a recurring problem.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Teams application is up to date, as updates can fix bugs related to recording.

For future recordings, consider checking the recording policies and ensuring that all participants have the necessary permissions and storage available.
