    Hi,

Is it an Outlook.com account or a Work account?

If it is a standard Outlook account, you can click "I do not have acccess to authenticator app right now", and you should be able to explore other options to get a code, to access the account.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Otherwise, please take a moment to rate the answer. Wishing you good luck!

To resolve the issue of not being able to add your email to the Outlook app due to the requirement of a code from the Microsoft Authenticator app, you have a few options:

    1. Alternative Sign-In Method: If you have any alternative sign-in methods set up (like SMS or a recovery email), try using those to log in instead of the Authenticator app.
    2. Contact Admin: Since you mentioned this is related to a business account, you may need to contact your organization's Global Admin. They can reset your MFA settings, which will allow you to set up the Authenticator app again. They can do this through the Microsoft Entra Admin Center by requiring you to re-register for multifactor authentication.
    3. Data Protection Team: If you are the only admin and cannot access your account, you may need to reach out to the Microsoft Data Protection team for assistance. They have processes in place to help regain access to locked accounts.
    4. Reinstalling the App: If you haven't already, try reinstalling the Outlook app and see if that helps in refreshing the login process.

These steps should help you regain access to your email on the Outlook app.
