Hey there! Nice to meet you!

If you do not have any linked verification method for a password reset, I'm afraid the only way to recover the account is through the account recovery web form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft, and you can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

If your Microsoft account recovery request was not granted, please review this link for tips on improving your chances of a successful recovery: https://support.microsoft.com/office/dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Please be advised that Microsoft Support will not be able to assist you with manual recovery and escalation for this case, as stated in this article, that they are not permitted to send password resets, access, or even change any details on the account:

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

If you're having trouble recovering your email account and the recovery form is not verifying your information correctly, here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Review Your Recovery Information: Make sure that the information you are providing in the recovery form is accurate. This includes any alternate email addresses or phone numbers associated with your account.
    2. Provide Detailed Information: When filling out the recovery form, include as much detail as possible about your account. This can include recent email subjects, folder names, and contacts you’ve emailed. The more information you provide, the better the chances of verifying your identity.
    3. Wait and Retry: If you have submitted the recovery form multiple times and received rejections, it may be beneficial to wait a period before trying again. Microsoft may temporarily limit attempts to prevent unauthorized access.
    4. Use a Familiar Device: If possible, try to submit the recovery form from a device and location that you frequently use to access your account. This can help in verifying your identity.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If you continue to have issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They can guide you through the recovery process and provide additional options.
    6. Check for Unauthorized Access: If you suspect that your account may have been compromised, ensure that you secure any devices you have used to access your account and run antivirus scans.

Remember, two-factor authentication (if enabled) requires access to one of your security methods, so ensure that you have access to those as well.
