    Dear @Gideon finke,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter when using our services/ products. Based on your description, kindly try these following steps:

    Reset Feather’s cached login/profile data

Corrupted or stale cache can cause Feather to “not find” the profile even when it exists.

    • Option A (Feather settings reset): Delete the Feather settings folder: %appdata%\.minecraft\feather
    • Option B (Feather app cache): Clear Feather’s Roaming data:
      C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Feather

Then relaunch Feather and sign in again.

    Repair Microsoft WebView2

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime > Modify > Repair > restart If WebView2 is missing, reinstalling the runtime is recommended.

I sincerely hope you understand that the initial steps I suggested may not have completely fixed the issue, as there may still be underlying causes that have not yet been identified. I am here to work closely with you, troubleshoot effectively, and explore every possible solution to ensure the best possible outcome.
