Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity

I recently switched from Google back to Microsoft and I am trying to add additional users into Azure as a guest but i keep getting a notification that says "Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity".

I was able to add approx. 150 guest users and now it wont allow me to resend invitations or add additional external users. I have been on support with Godaddy for almost a week and there is no live Microsoft agent to speak with. Can anyone help me figure this out? What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Brian Strain,

This happens when Microsoft Entra ID detects a high number of guest invitations sent in a short time. After adding ~150 guests, the platform automatically temporarily blocks further invitations as a security/abuse‑prevention measure. This isn’t caused by GoDaddy or a tenant misconfiguration, and admins can’t manually remove the block.

The restriction is lifted automatically after some time. Once it clears, invite external users in smaller batches to avoid triggering it again.
