    Hi @Ramesh

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you very much for reaching out regarding the issue where you enter your email ID and password, but the same activation screen reappears and Office remains not activated. I appreciate your patience and the details you provided.

Based on the information and the symptoms you’re experiencing, it appears that your account may not have been fully activated or assigned the correct Microsoft 365 license by your organization’s IT administrator. When a work or school account does not have an active or properly assigned license, Office is unable to complete activation and may keep returning to the same sign‑in screen.

Given this situation, I strongly recommend contacting your organization’s IT administrator or IT support team so they can verify that your Microsoft 365 account has a valid and active license, ensure it isn’t expired or misconfigured, confirm your account is properly provisioned in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and check for any organizational policies or sign‑in restrictions that may be preventing activation.

Only your IT team has access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center where they can review and correct any license assignment issues tied to your organization’s subscription.

I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this.

If you're having trouble activating your Office 365 account and the same screen appears after entering your email and password, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter: This tool can help resolve activation issues. Make sure you're using the same device where Microsoft 365 is installed and that it runs Windows 10 or later. You can find the troubleshooter in the Get Help app.
    2. Check your internet connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that there are no network issues.
    3. Sign out and sign back in: Open a Microsoft 365 app, select your name or profile picture at the top, sign out, and then sign back in using your Work or School account.
    4. Update Microsoft 365: Make sure your Microsoft 365 is up to date. Open an app like Word, go to File > Account, and check for updates.
    5. Check for account issues: Ensure that your account is active and that you have the correct subscription. If you're unsure, contact your Microsoft 365 administrator for assistance.
    6. Reset Microsoft 365 activation state: If the issue persists, you may need to reset the activation state. Instructions for doing this can be found in the Microsoft documentation.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult the Microsoft support documentation or contact support for further assistance.
