I need a solution for the antivirus issue in Windows 11. Whenever I try to access any online game like GTA V or Need for Speed, I get an error message and can't connect online. When I had Windows 10, I didn't have any problems. I strongly suspect that the antivirus is preventing me from playing, and I need a solution to this problem.

    Hi,

Could you take a screenshot of the Windows Security error message?

If possible, which store did you download the games from: Epic Games, Steam, Rockstar Launcher, or Microsoft Store/Xbox?

    Thanks

If you're experiencing issues with online games like GTA V or Need for Speed on Windows 11, it could be related to your antivirus settings. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Check Windows Defender Antivirus Settings: Ensure that Windows Defender is not blocking the game. You can add exceptions for the game in the Windows Security settings.
    2. Restart Windows Defender Service: Sometimes, simply restarting the Windows Defender service can resolve connectivity issues. You can do this by going to services.msc, finding the Windows Defender Antivirus Service, and restarting it.
    3. Disable Tamper Protection: If Tamper Protection is enabled, it might prevent certain changes. You can try disabling it temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.
    4. Check for Third-Party Security Software: If you have any third-party antivirus or security software installed, it may conflict with Windows Defender. Consider disabling or uninstalling it to see if that resolves your problem.
    5. Run Windows Update: Ensure that your Windows 11 is up to date, as updates may include fixes for issues related to security and connectivity.
    6. Check Firewall Settings: Ensure that your firewall settings are not blocking the game. You can check this in the Windows Security settings under Firewall & network protection.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult the Microsoft Support for further assistance.
