I am using a Samsung gaming monitor and another large dell monitor to connect to my Dell laptop, the Samsung monitor screen is stretching the view on the screen. Laptop and other monitor is normal. It does this sometimes and I don't know why. How do I adjust the view?

    Hi,

It could be an incorrect resolution or scalar setting.

What is the model of your Dell laptop?

Are you using two monitors in addition to the laptop?

Have you updated your video drivers to the latest version?

Go to Start > Settings > System > Display > check if the Resolution tab is set to Recommended between two displays along with the Scalar setting.

    Thanks

To adjust the view on your Samsung gaming monitor that is stretching the screen, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Display Settings: Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings. Ensure that the resolution set for the Samsung monitor matches its native resolution. This can help prevent stretching.
    2. Scaling Options: In the Display settings, look for the scaling options. You might want to set it to 100% or the recommended scaling value to see if that resolves the stretching issue.
    3. Graphics Card Settings: If you have a dedicated graphics card, open its control panel (like NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings) and check the display settings there. Ensure that the scaling mode is set to Aspect Ratio or No Scaling instead of Full Screen.
    4. Monitor Settings: Use the buttons on the monitor itself to access the settings menu. Look for options related to display or image scaling and adjust them accordingly.
    5. Reconnect the Monitor: Sometimes, simply disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor can reset the settings and resolve the issue.

If the problem persists, it may be worth checking for any driver updates for your graphics card or monitor.
