To cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- If you're using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
- If you're using the Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
- Select the subscription that you want to cancel.
- On the subscription details page, in the Billing settings section, select Cancel subscription.
- If you’re within the grace period during which you can cancel your subscription, select a reason for why you’re canceling, provide optional feedback, then select Cancel subscription.
- If you’re outside the grace period, you can only turn off recurring billing, which prevents your subscription from renewing at the end of its term.
- Make sure to save any important data before cancellation, as users will lose access to their data once the cancellation becomes effective.
Regarding refunds, if you are eligible for a prorated credit or refund, it typically depends on the type of billing account you have and when you cancel. For specific refund inquiries, it’s best to check the cancellation policy based on your billing account type or contact support for assistance.
