I installed Office 2016, which I have a license for, but Microsoft says that it installed Office 360 and I have to pay. How do I install the product which I already paid for?

You have posted in Q&A, which is a user-to-user forum hosted by Microsoft. Nobody here has access to your account info.

In Windows Settings, go to the list of Installed Apps and uninstall Microsoft 365, if you see it there. It is likely a trial version, and therefore you want to get rid of it.

Already did that. How do I contact Microsoft support when they only connect me to a computer that refuses to answer the posed question and refuses to connect me to a person?

To install Office 2016 with the license you already have, you should first ensure that you uninstall any existing versions of Office that may have been installed, such as Office 365. You can use the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter to assist with this process. Once the previous version is uninstalled, you can proceed to install Office 2016 by downloading it from the official Microsoft website or using the installation media you have.

Make sure that you are using the correct version that corresponds to your license. If you encounter any issues during installation, check that your system meets the requirements for Office 2016 and that you are using the correct installation method for your license type.

If you continue to face problems, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance with your specific license and installation issues.
