Hyphen Glitches and Repeated Text with Word docs in the Approvals App (Microsoft Teams)

Two weeks ago, when entered into the Approvals App, Word 365 documents that include hyphenated words started losing their hyphens. When the hyphen is added back while in Approvals, the text immediately following the hyphen was repeated. Here's the example:

Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved honor.-deserved honor.

Our IT department is at a loss. Can anyone help?

    Is this the service described at https://ivero.net/solutions/ApprovalsCenter/index.html ? In that case, as Doug suggested, you need to take it up with them.

    I have this same issue, if I draft in desktop, the non line-breaking hyphens do not appear and the words appear together and if you correct them in the online, they duplicate.

    I have the exact same issue.

    I have also noticed that opening the document in the desktop app shows hyphens fine, but opening the same document in the browser has the hyphens removed, with no space between the words.
