    Hi @DON QUITTEM

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum

Regarding your issue, if your computer is forcing you to do this especially twice it's likely due to a specific security setting or a "stuck" legacy configuration.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Disable "Secure Sign-in"
    • Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
    • Type netplwiz and hit Enter.
    • In the User Accounts window, click the Advanced tab.
    • Look at the bottom section labeled Secure sign-in.
    • Uncheck the box that says "Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete."
    • User's image
    • Click Apply and OK.
    1. Disable "Fast Startup"
    • Search for Control Panel and open it.
    • Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
    • Click "Choose what the power buttons do" on the left.
    • Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable" at the top.
    • User's image
    • Uncheck "Turn on fast startup (recommended)."
    • Save changes and restart.

Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

If you are required to press Control + Alt + Delete twice to log into your Windows 11 computer, it may indicate an issue with the login process or a setting that needs to be adjusted. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows 11 is up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve login issues.
    2. Keyboard Issues: Verify that your keyboard is functioning properly. You can try using a different keyboard to see if the issue persists.
    3. User Account Settings: Check if there are any specific settings related to your user account that might be affecting the login process. You can access this through the Control Panel or Settings.
    4. Fast Startup: Disabling Fast Startup in the power options can sometimes resolve login issues. You can find this setting in the Control Panel under Power Options.
    5. Safe Mode: Booting into Safe Mode can help determine if the issue is caused by third-party software or drivers. If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, it may be related to a recently installed application or driver.

If the problem continues after trying these steps, you may need to consider resetting your PC or seeking further assistance from Microsoft support.
