Nonprofit Azure Grant Renewed but Not Applied to Existing Subscription (Will Be Billed)

Our nonprofit Azure grant has successfully renewed and we have received confirmation of the $2000 credit.

However, the credit has not been applied to our existing subscription. It is prompting to create a new subscription instead, which would leave our current production subscription billing normally.

We need the renewed nonprofit sponsorship attached to the existing subscription so that charges stop immediately.

We cannot open a normal Azure support ticket from the portal, so requesting escalation here.

Can a moderator escalate this to the Azure Sponsorship/Billing team to attach the renewed grant to our current subscription?

Hi, thanks for the response.

So, yes. The grant has been approved, but the email says to click here to activate a new subscription. I want it to go onto our existing subscription as that already has resources assigned to it.

I tried to open a support ticket within azure like the email says, but couldn't. Would you, or any other moderators on here be able to open a ticket for me?

Hi Microsoft

We are having the exact same issue. It happens every year and is becoming really annoying. There is no way to contact support via the Azure Portal and your AI Help keeps directing me to community articles which again don't deal with the problem.

Please can someone get in touch to fix this.
