.Today I received a message on my MS Word account that my subscription had been cancelled. I clicked REACTIVATE and spent $139.09 on this.

THEN on one section of my Account it said on 06/06/2026 I would have a payment for $99. What's up with this? Why did my Subscgtiption deactivate yet I have a bill for it coming in on 06/06/2026 even though I paid $139.09 to REACTIVATE it?

WHat's this about?

    Hello,

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

It seems that you may have encountered a situation where your Microsoft 365 subscription was deactivated, leading to confusion regarding the payments. Here are a few points to consider:

    1. Subscription Deactivation: If your subscription was canceled, it could be due to various reasons such as a missed payment or a change in billing frequency. When you reactivated your subscription by paying $139.09, it should have reinstated your access.
    2. Future Billing: The mention of a payment due on 06/06/2026 could indicate that this is part of your billing cycle, possibly for the next renewal period after your current subscription term. This is common if you have an annual subscription, where you are billed at the start of each new term.
    3. Double Billing: If you are seeing two charges (the $139.09 for reactivation and the upcoming $99), it might be worth checking if you have inadvertently signed up for two different subscription plans or if there was an error in the billing system.

To resolve this issue, I recommend checking your account details on the Microsoft website to confirm the status of your subscription and any billing history. You may also want to contact Microsoft support for clarification on the charges and to ensure that your subscription is active without any duplicate billing.
