Every time I search and find the exact problem I'm having the answer has been moved.

Question

I know this will get "locked and moved", but just wanted to point out that pretty much without fail the top search result for a high percentage of problems I search that link to this board, the question has been locked and moved.

It's great that idea to try to keep message board systems clean and organized, but not if all the search engines are still pointing to these original messages. Maybe, just maybe, moderators don't lock and move something, if they aren't going to give a link to where it was moved to.

I look forward to the notification that this post has been locked and moved.

Hi Brandon,

There used to be a Community

called Answers. When the Top threads

from Answers were moved to Q&A they

were locked. They may be relevant to

a search you are doing, but old.

If you have the same or similar issue it's best to start

a new thread on Q&A for help.
