Hi! Let me help you with this issue.

Have you tried a hard reset?

    Shut down the laptop completely

Click Start → Power → Shut down

Make sure it’s fully off (no lights, no fan)

    Unplug everything

    Remove the charger

Disconnect USB devices, mouse, keyboard, headset, HDMI, etc.

    Drain residual power

Press and hold the Power button for 20–30 seconds

    Don’t release it early

    Reconnect power

Plug only the charger back in (nothing else)

    Turn the laptop on

    Press the Power button normally.

If your touchpad is not moving and is stuck in one place, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Touchpad Settings: Ensure that your touchpad is enabled. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and checking if the touchpad is turned on.
    2. Update Drivers: Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause touchpad issues. Go to Device Manager, find your touchpad under "Mice and other pointing devices," right-click it, and select "Update driver."
    3. Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve issues with hardware.
    4. Check for Physical Obstructions: Ensure there is nothing physically blocking the touchpad or that the touchpad surface is clean.
    5. Use an External Mouse: If possible, connect an external mouse to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the touchpad itself.
    6. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows is up to date as updates can fix bugs and improve hardware compatibility.
    7. Reset Touchpad Settings: If you have customized touchpad settings, consider resetting them to default.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consider hardware troubleshooting or consulting with a technician.
