I am trying to copy and paste a set of slides into another person's presentation. How do I keep the background colour from the copied slide? Other fomatting seems to hold but not the background colour.

PowerPoint for Mac works a bit differently. There are two choices which do the same thing:

    • Paste the slide, click the Paste Options tool PasteOptionsButton which appears at the lower right corner of the pasted slide & select Keep Source Formatting, or
    • Paste using the V on the right edge of the Paste tool & select the Keep Source Formatting option.

    Hello

When you were going to paste, right click and choose the Keep Source Formatting option.
