Unable to recover my account.

A few weeks ago, I had my Microsoft account hacked in which they changed my security info to ******@superparml.ru, I managed to reset my password and change my security info to my phone number but I had to wait til the 28th of this month for it to come into effect. Because of this stupid fucking rule they managed to cancel the security info request and today, I got signed out of my account again and they managed to link a phone number I don't use to my account and somehow enabled 2fa. When I recovered my account I wasn't able to do any of that and now I am extremely mad because they were able to do it and I had to wait a month before I could fully secure my account. I already tried to recover my account but because they activated 2fa I am unable to have my password recovery requests fulfilled. I have already proven myself to be the owner of my account but due to Microsoft's idiotic account security help, I can't do anything else. If there is anyway I could have some help recovering my account I would be very grateful. image_2026-02-17_211917765

Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Windows user.

As 2 factor authentication has been enabled then the account is lost.

During the 30 day lockout this should’ve also affected the hacker as far as I know so I am concerned to hear that it doesn’t & that they could easily reverse/circumvent this.

You can try recovering your account here:

    Hacked:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

    Or:

    Can’t sign in:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/you-can-t-sign-in-to-your-microsoft-account-475c9b5c-8c25-49f1-9c2d-c64b7072e735

You can try also https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact & choose Account Recovery.

If none of the above work then you’ll require the account recovery form:

    https://account.live.com/acsr

Please note if you have 2/multi factor authentication active on your account then you cannot use the form to recover the account.

Please be aware that as the email address has been changed to that of the hacker &/or 2fa/mfa has been enabled then usually there’s nothing which can be done. You would need to create a new account & request that Microsoft transfer any purchases & subscriptions to the new account.

To request a transfer of purchases & subscriptions contact Microsoft here:
