I followed every tip I could find. I still show coins and packs purchased under the account, but it says I do not own the game and to buy the full game.

    Hello Audrey Turley,

    Thanks for letting me know.

That actually give me an idea of how this could go.

While Mojang account has been migrated with Microsoft Account, the order history of the 2 platform still remains separated. If you bought the game from Minecraft.net, then it won't show up on your Microsoft order history.

After the migration, the Microsoft Store will be in charge of any real money purchases, including coins and packs. Those purchases will appear on your Microsoft account order history. The packs you bought using Minecoins after that usually don't.

In this case, can you please try to download the game directly from Minecraft.net to see if it recognize your license? You can also find the Minecraft Launcher in the Microsoft Store (It's a free launcher), download it and log in with your account to see if you can play the Java edition from there.

    I'm waiting for your reply.

    Hello Audrey Turley,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I see that you are having issue with your Minecraft after changing hardware. Before we proceed, I'd like to ask a few questions to better understand the situation.

    • May I know when you bought the game and where you bought it from?
    • May I know the steps that you've tried so far?
    • Can I have a photo of the issue to check for you? Please remember to remove all personal information before posting.

In the meantime, here is a fix that you could try.

    • Go to Settings > Time & language > Date and time.
    • Make sure "Set time automatically" and "Set time zone automatically" is set to ON.
    • Select "Sync now" to synchronize the clock.
    • Sign out and sign in of the game, the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store and try again.
