Hi Victor, if the invoice is already posted, you cannot directly change personal details because those fields are locked for compliance reasons. The proper method is to issue a credit note against the incorrect invoice and then create a new one with the corrected information. Direct database edits or unsupported modifications are not recommended as they break audit integrity.

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Business Central, you open the posted invoice, select “Correct” or “Cancel,” and the system will automatically generate a credit note that reverses the original entry. After that, you create a new invoice with the corrected personal details and post it as usual.
