Hello Team,

I am facing issues with Teams application and unable to receive calls.
Only hears the ringtone that someone is calling, but no option in screen to receive/deny the call.

Phone Model: Redmi Note 13+ Pro Plus(Xiaomi HyperOS with Android Version 15)

Teams is installed in separate Work Profile installed with Intune Company Portal

Have gone through similar issues and trouble shooting mentioned in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5584674/poco-x7-pro-microsoft-teams-incoming-call-not-show?source=docs

  1. Installed Microsoft Teams in both:
    Work & Personal Profile
  2. Uninstall/Install Teams apps
  3. Private DNS is OFF.

Given Display pop-up windows permission to Teams in Personal Profile, Still issue is not fixed.

Please let me know, how to solve this. This is creating serious trouble for me.

Thanks,

    Dear Sourabh Prasad (IN),

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how frustrating it can be when incoming calls in Microsoft Teams only produce a ringtone without displaying the option to accept or decline the call.

You have already tried several appropriate troubleshooting steps. However, issues of this nature can behave differently depending on factors such as device model, operating system version, and system-level configurations. As a result, available workarounds may not be consistent across all environments.

In addition, I also noticed that multiple users have reported similar behavior, so to ensure this issue is reviewed by the appropriate product and engineering teams, we strongly encourage you to submit your feedback through the Microsoft Feedback Portal: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/ This is the best way to l ensure your concern reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.

At the same time, since this behavior may be influenced by Xiaomi system services, it would be beneficial to report the issue directly to Xiaomi as well, so their team can further investigate from their side.

I hope this information helps. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let me know.

It seems you are experiencing an issue with receiving calls on Microsoft Teams where you only hear the ringtone but do not see the option to accept or decline the call. This could be related to several factors, especially considering the device and operating system you are using.

Here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Permissions: Ensure that Microsoft Teams has all the necessary permissions enabled, especially for notifications and display pop-ups. Sometimes, permissions can be restricted by the operating system or security settings.
    2. Background App Settings: Make sure that Teams is allowed to run in the background. If the app is restricted from running in the background, it may not display incoming call notifications properly.
    3. Notification Settings: Verify that the notification settings for Teams are configured correctly in both the work and personal profiles. Check if notifications are turned on for calls specifically.
    4. Device Compatibility: Since you are using a Redmi Note 13 Pro with HyperOS, there might be specific compatibility issues with Teams. Ensure that your device's operating system is updated to the latest version, as updates often fix bugs and improve app performance.
    5. Reinstall Teams: As you have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Teams, ensure that you are installing the latest version from a reliable source.
    6. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support or checking the Microsoft Community for similar issues reported by other users with the same device.

If none of these solutions work, it may be worth checking if there are any known issues with Teams on your specific device model or Android version.
