Hello,

I use MS Teams to host webinars.

Since January all of our speakers that use Mac get this error:
This Teams platform doesn't have protection against screenshots, so video will be turned off.Learn more

There is no setting in either Microsoft Teams admin or in the Microsoft Teams app where such a setting is enable or turned to on.

What can be done? Or when will this bug be fixed?

The error message regarding screenshot protection on macOS in Microsoft Teams indicates that the platform's current security architecture may interfere with screen sharing and video functionality. This issue arises because enabling screen capture protection on macOS can cause shared windows to appear blank or not display properly, which is a known limitation due to the operating system's security features.

Currently, there are no specific settings in the Microsoft Teams admin center or the Teams app to disable this feature directly. However, if collaboration is heavily reliant on screen sharing and video, it may be necessary to temporarily disable screen capture protection on the device or consider using Windows endpoints for full enforcement of screen protection features.

As for when this bug will be fixed, there hasn't been any specific timeline provided for a resolution. It's advisable to keep an eye on updates from Microsoft regarding Teams functionality and security features.
