Teams will not open - Microsoft 365 personal - Windows 11

Question

I have Microsoft 365 Personal on Windows 11 pc.

When I click on my "Teams" icon to open the app I cant a screen message "you can't open this app on your computer" - why?

However if I am invited to a Teams meeting, Teams opens for me when I click on the invitation link to the meeting

Please help me fix this problem.
