Input Indicator UI bug: Language switcher incorrectly positioned in bottom-left corner on Windows 11 (Build 25H2)

The Input Indicator (language switcher overlay) is completely glitched on Windows 11. Instead of appearing in its designated spot, it frequently jumps to the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Current behavior:

The overlay is often stuck in the bottom-left corner immediately after system startup.

It also moves there randomly during normal use, without any manual changes or Explorer restarts.

It appears "in the middle of nowhere" above the Start button, which is a clear UI positioning failure.

This issue has been persistent for days and occurs without any visible trigger. Please fix the coordinate logic for this UI element in the latest 25H2 builds.

Thank you for the detailed information.

If this issue started after the recent 25H2 security updates and it occurs on multiple devices

(with different hardware specifications, including Intel, AMD, and other chipsets),

then it does seem likely that the problem is related to the latest Windows updates.

Based on what you described, it also doesn’t appear to be caused by any third‑party software.

I hope Microsoft will release some information or a fix soon so that this issue can be resolved quickly.

Before the problem started, you probably installed one of the updates released this year,

    from KB5074109 up to KB5077181.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/topic/february-10-2026-kb5077181-os-builds-26200-7840-and-26100-7840-f0fa9e54-a22a-4a06-96b6-bf5b2aded506

Do you remember which specific update was installed right before the issue began?

If you can recall it, and if you have a device that is not critical for work or personal use,

you might be able to uninstall that update on just one of those PCs to test whether it makes any difference.

    Thank you for your reply.

Did this issue start occurring after performing a clean installation?

Did you obtain the installation media from the official Microsoft website?

Also, have you tried performing a repair installation of Windows for this issue?

    Hello,

I’m not sure what kind of response the AI provided, but it’s possible that third‑party software or services are interfering with the taskbar and causing the issue.

Have you tried performing a clean boot?
