For reasons I do not understand, my attachment icon is no longer on my ribbon at the top of the my screen. Where did it go and how can I get it back?

    Hello !

Sometimes, on the classic Outlook, the attachment icon can be hidden if your Outlook window is too small. Make sure it's fully expanded.
The attachment tools are also in the "Insert" tab of the ribbon : can you see them ?

If you cannot see these tools anyway, you can reset the Ribbon layout by clicking on File > Options > Customize ribbon > Reset > Reset all customisations.

Please let me know if you have any other question !

If the attachment icon has disappeared from the ribbon in Outlook, it could be due to a customization or a change in the ribbon settings. Here are a few steps you can try to restore it:

    1. Customize the Ribbon: Right-click on the ribbon and select "Customize the Ribbon." Check if the attachment option is unchecked and re-enable it.
    2. Reset the Ribbon: In the same customization menu, you can also choose to reset the ribbon to its default settings, which may bring back the missing icon.
    3. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Outlook is updated to the latest version, as updates can sometimes fix UI issues.
    4. Repair Office: If the problem persists, consider repairing your Office installation through the Control Panel.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be helpful to consult further resources or support for Outlook.
