Im trying to create a student Azure account for school. I followed the link my proffessor shared with me (https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/DeviceAuthTls/reprocess) which automatically asked me to loggin with my school email and i did. It then led me to a "Academic Verification" page. I filled in my school information and my email adress was automatically entered and im not able to change it. Ive added a screenshot of what shows up when try to submit the form(Screenshot 2026-02-18 at 15.21.41.png). The verification complete message was there even before entering anything.

How do i fix this?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

It seems that you are experiencing issues with the academic verification process for your Azure account. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Email Format: Ensure that the automatically filled email address is in the correct format (e.g., ******@university.edu). Sometimes, minor typos can cause the system to reject the email.
    2. Contact Support: If the email format is correct and you still cannot change it, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance. They may be able to provide insights into why the email is being flagged as invalid.
    3. Manual Verification: If the automatic verification fails, you might need to provide additional documentation for manual verification. This could include your student ID, transcript, or enrollment letter. Check if there are options for manual verification on the verification page or contact support for guidance.
    4. Try a Different Browser: Sometimes, browser issues can affect form submissions. Try using a different web browser or clearing your current browser's cache and cookies before attempting the verification again.
    5. Follow Up with Your Institution: Ensure that your institution is supported in Microsoft's verification system. If there are issues on their end, they might need to resolve them before you can successfully verify your status.

If you continue to encounter problems, it may be beneficial to provide a detailed description of the issue to Microsoft support, including any error messages you receive.
