Hello Terri Clarke, thanks for posting this in the community.

May I confirm which app you are using for your email on your iPhone, iPad, and laptop, whether it is Apple Mail or Outlook?

Please also check if the “Push” option is enabled on your devices by going to Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, and opening Fetch New Data. Select your email account and make sure it is set to Push, and set the Fetch schedule to “Every 15 minutes” or “Automatically.” Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Outlook.com all support Push on iOS, and if the account is set to Fetch instead of Push, new emails may arrive with a delay of around 15 minutes or more.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli

If you are experiencing delays in receiving emails on your iPad, iPhone 15, and laptop, there are a few potential causes to consider:

    1. Exchange Online Server Issues: Sometimes, the delay may be due to issues with the Exchange Online server. You can check the service health in the Microsoft 365 portal to see if other users are experiencing similar issues.
    2. Local Network Issues: Check if there are any local network problems that could be affecting your connection. This includes issues with your proxy server, firewall, or Internet service provider.
    3. Metered Connection Warning: If your devices are connected to a metered network, this may also cause delays in receiving emails. You might want to connect to a non-metered WiFi or LAN network to see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Device Settings: Ensure that your email settings on all devices are configured correctly, and that they are set to check for new emails at appropriate intervals.

By addressing these potential issues, you should be able to improve the speed at which you receive emails across your devices.
