Hi support,

I cannot receive any email from my Hotmail account. I follow the instructions on the help support to reset the password of it, but I still cannot receive any emails. I could sent out email to other people, and they can receive my email, so the outgoing server is working fine, but when I friend reply my email, they will get a ******@hotmail.com email saying the email doesn't go through.

Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

Is there any way to obtain the error message that your senders receive and post it here? The reason for non-delivery should be contained in the error message.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with receiving emails on your Hotmail account. Since you can send emails but not receive them, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, incoming emails may be incorrectly filtered into your spam or junk folder. Make sure to check these folders for any missing emails.
    2. Review Email Forwarding Rules: If you have set up any forwarding rules, ensure that they are configured correctly and that they are not diverting your emails elsewhere.
    3. Storage Space: Verify that your account storage is not full. If your storage is over the limit, you may not be able to receive new emails.
    4. Blocked Senders: Ensure that the senders from whom you are expecting emails are not blocked in your account settings.
    5. Account Settings: Review your account settings to ensure that there are no misconfigurations that could be affecting email delivery.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help you diagnose the problem more thoroughly.
