    Hi,

What is the model of your wireless mouse?

Please check if the mouse uses a USB dongle and is connected, or if it's giving an "unknown USB" error.

If it's Bluetooth, try adding it again > First, remove it in the Start menu > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > More devices > find the mouse > click on the "...", select "Remove devices" and wait for the process to finish.

Then select "Add devices", select Bluetooth, put the mouse in pairing mode and try to see if it identifies it.

If it doesn't appear, test it on your smartphone to see if it recognizes it.

To restore your cordless mouse to function with your Windows 11 laptop, follow these steps:

    1. Check the Power: Ensure that the mouse is powered on and that the battery is properly installed. Sometimes, even new batteries can be faulty.
    2. Re-pair the Mouse:
      • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & other devices.
      • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
      • If your mouse is not listed, put the mouse into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing a button on the mouse (refer to the mouse's manual for specific instructions).
      • Once in pairing mode, look for your mouse in the Bluetooth settings and select it to connect.
    3. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to Device Manager, finding the Bluetooth section, right-clicking on your Bluetooth device, and selecting Update driver.
    4. Remove and Re-add the Device: If the mouse was previously connected but is not working, try removing it from the Bluetooth settings and then re-adding it.
    5. Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no other devices causing interference. Move any other wireless devices away from your mouse and laptop.
    6. Use a USB Bluetooth Adapter: If the built-in Bluetooth is not working, consider using an external USB Bluetooth adapter. Make sure to disable the internal Bluetooth in Device Manager if you do this.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be worth testing the mouse with another device to see if the problem lies with the mouse itself.
