Two sets of Microsoft 365 on Mac

Question

I have two sets of Microsoft 365 programs on my MacBook Pro.

In January 2026, I purchased Microsoft 365 for business. I was fortunate to speak to a support agent from doing a Chat. She helped me purchase and install Microsoft 365 Personal.

I need assistance to have only (1) Microsoft 365 programs because I'm having problems with Mail Merge. Word is not seeing my Excel file.

Please advise.

I understand in January 2026, you purchased Microsoft 365 for business. With the help of a support agent from you purchased and install Microsoft 365 Personal. Now you wish to delete one version of Office 365.

What you need to keep in mind decide which license you will keep. When choose one:

• Microsoft 365 Personal (recommended for home / non‑company email)
• Microsoft 365 Business (only if you truly need business email, SharePoint, Teams admin)

You should not stay signed into both Offices because it can cause conflict in the future.

Here is how you can contact Microsoft Support if you need further assistance:

1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support 
2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below. 
3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account. 
4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm 
5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.
