Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

To recover the account, kindly follow the steps below:

Method 1. Recover a Microsoft account by resetting the password:

Go to this link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2273955 and follow the prompt to reset the password.

    For reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/reset-a-forgotten-microsoft-account-password-eff4f067-5042-c1a3-fe72-b04d60556c37

Method 2. If you cannot reset the password or are unable to verify the account, I recommend submitting a recovery form:

Please complete the form and expect a reply within a couple of days.

If your Microsoft account has been hacked and the hacker has changed the alias or deleted the account, recovering access can be challenging. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Use the Microsoft Account Recovery Form: Go to the official Microsoft account recovery page and fill out the recovery form. Provide as much information as possible to verify your identity, including old passwords, purchase information, and any other details related to your account.
    2. Check for Account Activity: If you regain access, immediately check for any unauthorized changes or settings that may have been made by the hacker.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the recovery form does not work, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support directly. They may have additional tools to help verify your identity and assist with the recovery process.
    4. Inform Your Contacts: If you suspect that your account was compromised, inform your contacts to prevent them from falling victim to potential phishing attempts from your account.
    5. Secure Your Account: Once you regain access, change your password to a strong, unique one and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance security.

Unfortunately, if the hacker has replaced your security information and the automated recovery options fail, it may limit your ability to recover the account. Persistence is key, and providing detailed information during the recovery process can improve your chances of success.
