Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Please try checking the "Deleted items folder" > if your emails are there, ctrl+A to select all of your emails > then restore.

Note: It would be best to perform this using a PC/laptop device.

If you can't find your emails, kindly check the "Recoverable Items folder/Recover items deleted from this folder." from the "deleted items folder" using a Windows PC or Mac. You can't access this folder on a mobile web browser.

If you're able to find the emails under the Recoverable Items folder > check all the items > right click then select Restore.

If you can't find your emails under that folder, I'm afraid this means that your emails are permanently deleted from the server, and it can no longer be recovered.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

It sounds like your Hotmail account has been compromised, and you've already taken the initial step of changing your password. However, if your emails are still missing, here are some steps you can take to try to recover your account and emails:

    1. Check Account Recovery Options: Go to the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the prompts to recover your account. Use any recovery options available, such as alternate email addresses or phone numbers that you may have set up.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to recover your emails through the recovery options, it's advisable to contact Microsoft Support directly for assistance. They can help you with account recovery and may have additional tools to verify your identity.
    3. Check for Account Activity: If you regain access, check your account activity for any unauthorized changes or settings. Look for any deleted emails in the Deleted Items folder or any suspicious rules that may have been set up by the hacker.
    4. Secure Your Account: Once you regain access, immediately change your password to a strong, unique one. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) again, and ensure that your recovery options are up to date.
    5. Monitor for Further Issues: Keep an eye on your account for any suspicious activity and inform your contacts about the potential compromise to prevent them from falling victim to phishing attempts.

If you continue to face issues with the recovery process, be persistent in reaching out to their support team for help.
