Need 24H2 update not available in Windows update

Where can I download 24H2 from? My windows update does not show it as available. It has the 25H2 update displayed.

I recommend trying the Installation Assistant to directly upgrade your current version to the latest 25H2 as suggested by EmilyS.

If this does not work, you may need to do a Repair Install via In-place upgrade.

It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

Few things to check on the PC

• Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
• Disable or uninstall any third-party Antivirus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

Hello,

Version 23H2 has reached end of life, so you will not be able to update it via Windows settings, that's the whole point of being at the end of life, meaning updates are no longer coming in. Even though 25H2 is shown to you, it will fail if you update it from there.

In this case, your only option is to install using the installation assistant. you can go here:

Download the installation assistant tool, and run it and update it from there. It will get you directly to 25H2, not 24H2. Microsoft doesn't publish 24H2 standalone iso.

25H2 is not a completely separate thing that you need to worry about. It includes everything that was in 24H2, all the fixes, improvements, and security updates, plus any new changes that Microsoft has added since then. So, if you install 25H2, you won't "lose" 24H2.

That's also why Windows Update shows you 25H2 instead of 24H2. When a newer feature update is released, Microsoft shifts focus to that version and stops offering the older one to most users.
