Description: I am experiencing a persistent issue with my ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (FA507NVR). The problem occurs in two specific scenarios:

At Startup: When I turn on the laptop, it frequently shows a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) once or twice before it finally manages to boot into Windows successfully.

On Battery Power: The laptop often encounters a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) while I am using it on battery power, even under light usage.

Current State: The device has a clean installation of Windows 11 and blue screen didn't stop during the installation until it is worked and the BIOS is updated to the latest version (303).

Question: What could be causing these crashes during startup and while on battery?

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

Based on your inputs and the troubleshooting steps you have done, it seems that there is a hardware-related issue on the PC. Moreover, can you please check if you have Minidump files on the PC so I can further examine the root cause of the issue?

Press Windows key + E (To open File Explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location, like the Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage like OneDrive or any cloud storage you are using, and please share the shareable link here.

To upload and share the link using OneDrive:

The Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issues you are experiencing during startup and while on battery power could be caused by several factors. Here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps:

    1. Driver Issues: BSODs are often related to problematic drivers. Since you have a clean installation of Windows 11, ensure that all device drivers, especially those related to graphics and power management, are up to date. You can check for updates in the Device Manager.
    2. Hardware Compatibility: Ensure that all hardware components are compatible with Windows 11. Sometimes, newer operating systems may have compatibility issues with older hardware.
    3. Power Management Settings: Since the BSOD occurs while on battery power, check your power management settings. Make sure that the settings are optimized for battery usage and that there are no conflicts with power-saving features.
    4. Memory Issues: Run the Windows Memory Diagnostics tool to check for memory errors. Faulty RAM can lead to BSODs.
    5. System File Corruption: Use the System File Checker (SFC) tool to repair any corrupted system files. You can run the command SFC /scannow in an elevated command prompt.
    6. Event Viewer Logs: Check the Event Viewer for any critical errors that occurred around the time of the BSOD. This can provide more specific information about what might be causing the crashes.
    7. BIOS Settings: Since you mentioned that the BIOS is updated, ensure that the settings are optimized for your hardware configuration. Sometimes, resetting BIOS settings to default can resolve issues.

If the problem persists after these steps, consider seeking further assistance from ASUS support or a professional technician, as there may be underlying hardware issues that need to be addressed.
