I had multiple albums loaded with pictures. When I bought more storage, all of the albums are completely gone now!

I think that when u upgraded storage, Photos kinda lost the album-map, not the pics. one more trick u can try is forcing a metadata sweep and export the photo list via Graph and re-save it to poke the index… if Restore isn’t on, that’s the last lever tbh. Im sorry about that.

Buying more OneDrive storage with Microsoft 365 does not delete albums or files. Albums are only collections of links to photos stored in your OneDrive. Please sign in at https://onedrive.live.com
with the same Microsoft account used for the purchase, then check Files, Photos, and the Recycle bin and restore any missing items if found.
