I have a purchased Microsoft Office 2021. My PC crashed a few days ago. I have reinstalled Windows 11 on my PC, but I need to reinstall my Microsoft Office 2021. I still have my product key. When I go to the Microsoft page to download Office 2021, I can go through the steps until I click download 64-bit. At that point I repeatedly get an error message saying Service Unavailable, we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Can you help me get this downloaded and activated? Thank you

You haven't mentioned from which page you downloaded your Office installer. Please visit the Subscriptions page of your Microsoft account and download the installer from the Office 2021 listing. Your product key is not needed, you will have to sign in to Office to activate the software.

    Hello,

This is usually a browser cache or extension issue. Try opening a new InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard while Edge is open.

In that new window, go directly to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the email address associated with your Office purchase. Since you already used the key before your crash, the license is likely digitally tied to your account now.

Scroll down to the Products you've purchased section, find your Office 2021, and try clicking the Install button from there. Let me know if that gets the file downloading.

If you're experiencing issues downloading Microsoft Office 2021 after reinstalling Windows 11, here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Check Service Status: Sometimes, the error "Service Unavailable" can be due to temporary issues on Microsoft's end. You can check the Microsoft Office service status page to see if there are any ongoing outages.
    2. Try a Different Browser: If you're encountering this issue in one browser, try using a different web browser to see if the problem persists.
    3. Clear Browser Cache: Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can sometimes resolve download issues.
    4. Use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant: This tool can help diagnose and fix issues with Office installation. You can download it from the Microsoft website.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue continues, reaching out to Microsoft Support may provide you with a solution specific to your situation.
    6. Use the Product Key: Since you have your product key, ensure you are logged into the correct Microsoft account associated with that key when attempting to download Office 2021.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, it might be helpful to wait a little while and try again later, as the service may be temporarily down.
