    Hi b3amby .gg/arsk

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand how stressful it is when you need access urgently but keep seeing the message about requesting too many verification codes.

Before I guide you further, could you please confirm whether you have already tried the steps suggested by Q&A Assist below? If yes, did you face any difficulty with any specific step?

In the meantime, here's what you should do next:

    1. Wait 24-48 hours before trying again

Multiple attempts trigger additional security blocks. Please stop all sign-in attempts for at least 24 hours then try again on a different browser/ device/ network.

    2. After the cooldown ends, try the official account recovery form

If you can’t access any verification method, please fill out the Microsoft Account Recovery form (ACSR) one more time with maximum details:

    • Go to: https://account.live.com/acsr
    • Enter the email you want to recover and an alternate email where Microsoft can contact you.
    • Provide as many accurate details as possible, such as old passwords, frequent contacts/subject lines and submit from a familiar device/location.
    • Wait 24–72 hours for a response. You may refine and resubmit up to twice per day.
    • Please see this official guide to help you fill out the form more accurately: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support

    3. Contact Microsoft Support directly

If the recovery form doesn’t work or get rejected, please reach out directly to Support team:

    • Go to Contact - Microsoft Support
    • Search for "Account Recovery" in the search box.
    • Click "Get Help" and press Enter, then scroll to the bottom and select "Contact Support”.
    • When prompted to select Products & Services, select "Other Products"; Under Categories, select "Manage account security". User's image
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours) or a similar callback option (if available). Explain your situation clearly.

Thank you for your precious time and understanding. Please feel free to let me know how it goes.

If you are receiving a message stating that you have requested too many codes and need to wait, it is important to follow the system's guidance. Typically, Microsoft temporarily locks accounts after too many failed sign-in attempts or requests to prevent unauthorized access. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Wait for the Lockout Period: Usually, the lockout period lasts about 24 hours. During this time, avoid making further attempts to request codes, as this can reset the cooldown timer.
    2. Use the Account Recovery Form: Once the lockout period is over, you can try using the Account Recovery Form to regain access to your account. Make sure to fill it out with as much accurate information as possible.
    3. Check for Other Recovery Options: If you have set up alternative recovery methods (like a backup email or phone number), ensure you try those as well.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If you continue to face issues after the lockout period, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Remember, patience is key during this process as account recovery is automated for security reasons and may take time.
