In PartnerSource Business Center how to register new module.

Hello,

We are a registered Microsoft ISV partner and our company has an assigned ISV object range in PartnerSource Business Center.

We are developing an on-prem Dynamics 365 Business Central module and we need to:

Register a new ISV Solution

Assign a portion of our object range to that module

Generate Solution ID

Later assign authorized resellers

However, in Business Center we cannot find the "ISV Development" or "Solution Registration" section.

Our situation:

Partner organization is registered as ISV

We have an assigned object range

The module is On-Prem (not AppSource)

We need to use our ISV object range instead of development range

Questions:

Is Solution Registration still available in PartnerSource Business Center for On-Prem Business Central modules?

Has this process been moved to Microsoft Partner Center?

Are there additional permissions required to access ISV Development section?

Is there a different workflow now for registering new On-Prem ISV modules?

Any clarification regarding the current (2025) process would be highly appreciated.

In the current context, the registration process for new ISV solutions and modules in Dynamics 365 Business Central has transitioned from PartnerSource Business Center to Microsoft Partner Center. As a registered Microsoft ISV partner with an assigned object range, you will need to follow the new procedures outlined in the Microsoft Partner Center for registering your solutions, including on-prem modules.

Here are some points to consider regarding your questions:

    1. Solution Registration Availability: The process for registering solutions has moved to Microsoft Partner Center, and the previous functionalities in PartnerSource Business Center may no longer be available for new registrations.
    2. Permissions: Ensure that your partner organization has the necessary permissions to access the ISV Development section in Microsoft Partner Center. If you are unable to find the relevant sections, it may be due to permission settings or the need for additional roles assigned to your account.
    3. Workflow Changes: The workflow for registering new on-prem ISV modules has likely changed with the transition to Microsoft Partner Center. You will need to familiarize yourself with the new interface and processes to successfully register your module and manage your object range.

For more detailed guidance, it is recommended to contact Microsoft Partner Support or refer to the resources available on the Microsoft Partner Center website.
