locked out of 365 admin account due to MFA issue: I got a new phone, and the old one is sold. Since then, I cannot login anymore, because the Authenticator app is not connected anymore to my account. Trying through SMS or other authentication methods doesn't work either. Error message: 'account not verified'

Thanks, I have tried this 3 times. But after waiting for more than an hour (3x), nobody picks up the phone (after the AI agent's questions have been answered so that it will try to connect to an employee). Also tried another country, same result. Do you maybe know a phone number that actually works?
Business phone support should definitely be working. I don't know why it didn't work for you. I suppose that real people may not be available 24 hours a day (but I'm sure you already considered business hours).
Strange and annoying indeed. I only called during business hours, and now also tried Belgium and US numbers. Same result: no one picks up the phone after long waiting times. I wish I could try chat, but that only works when you can login. I have now been trying to solve this issue for three days...
If there is an alternative phone number for your region, try that one as well.
