If the cooldown period is 24 hours, then you've had about 6 cooldown periods now as I've left it over 24 hours each time. 24 hours is not a week!

you say check your junk or spam. How do you expect me to do that when you've locked my account.

Stupidity beyond belief!

If you are experiencing repeated cooldown periods for your Outlook account, it is important to understand that Microsoft has security measures in place to protect accounts from unauthorized access. If you have reached the limit for password resets or account recovery attempts, you will need to wait for the cooldown period to expire before trying again. Typically, this cooldown period lasts about 24 hours.

If you are unable to access your account due to being locked out, you may want to try the following steps:

    1. Wait for the cooldown period: Avoid making further attempts during this time, as it may reset the cooldown.
    2. Use the Account Recovery Form: When the cooldown period is over, use the Account Recovery Form from a familiar device and location, ensuring that you provide accurate details.
    3. Contact Support: If you continue to have issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as they may be able to help you regain access to your account.

Unfortunately, if your account is locked, you won't be able to check your junk or spam folders until you regain access.
