Is the alternative email address you provided also a Microsoft email address, like hotmail.com or outlook.com, or is it from a different email service?
Did you check the deleted box? Check your account's block list?

hi I have noticed over the last few months that I am not receiving all of my emails into either the inbox or junk file. I know I should of received the email as I have been on the phone talking to the person sending it. I have to give an alternative email and then it will arrive in that emails inbox, but I never receive it into my hotmail inbox/junk file.
Please help!
