Microsoft Edge, Edge Beta on android are not receiving fcm/web push notifications

Question

When you try to subscribe, the subscription URL that edge is generating is showing like this:

https://permanently-removed.invalid/fcm/send/abcx....

This is a critical issue and it used to work on the past. Works fine on any other android browser, also works fine on Edge windows 11.

If this is the case even on Beta and Dev and from the previous builds and versions. it is best to send a feedback from the Edge browser or cascade it from the link below for proper investigation and also for the team that is working on Edge to be made aware of this and hopefully it can be patched on the next or future update.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Is the same even on Edge Dev that you can download and install on the Play Store? If you will need for this to work on your end, the alternative at the time being is to downgrade Edge first from the previous version where this is working and then provide a feedback to the team that is working on Edge for this to get checked and get patched on the next update.
