    Hi @Mr Sonbir

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I tried to reproduce your situation on my test device, but the Command + V shortcut is still working as expected on my side.

To better understand what you are experiencing, may I clarify the following:

    1. Besides Microsoft PowerPoint, does Command + V work normally in other Office apps or other applications on your device?
    2. Other than copying content from a Copilot output, are you able to paste content from different sources into Microsoft PowerPoint?
    3. Does the issue also occur in Microsoft PowerPoint for the web?
    4. When you use right‑click and select Paste, is the keyboard shortcut for pasting still displayed as Command + V?

If you have any updates or new details, please feel free to share them so I can provide more accurate insight.

If you're having trouble pasting text copied from Copilot output into PowerPoint using the Command + V shortcut, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Clipboard Issues: Sometimes, the clipboard may not function properly. Try copying the text again and ensure that it is indeed copied to the clipboard.
    2. PowerPoint Settings: Ensure that PowerPoint is up to date, as updates can fix bugs related to clipboard functionality.
    3. Safe Mode: If the issue persists, try opening PowerPoint in Safe Mode to see if any add-ins are causing the conflict. You can do this by holding the Command key while starting PowerPoint.
    4. Using Edit Menu: Since you mentioned that using the copy edit option works as expected, you can continue using that method as a workaround while troubleshooting the shortcut issue.
    5. Restart PowerPoint: Sometimes, simply restarting the application can resolve temporary glitches.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking for any third-party applications that might interfere with clipboard operations.
