Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please know when you receive the "System not available" error message? Does it appear during the Office installation?

Do you see your Office Home 2024 license under your Microsoft account online?

If yes, and you are having trouble installing the Office 2024 Home on your PC, here's what you can do:

Use the Office uninstall troubleshooter to remove all the previous traces of Office applications.

Once uninstalled, restart your computer, then reinstall the Office apps. If you are still having issues, please share the screenshot of the error message for our reference.

One additional note: Office Home 2024 includes only the Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote desktop applications.

If you would like to check your emails, you may use the Outlook app available from the Microsoft Store or access Outlook on the web at https://outlook.live.com/ to send and receive emails.

If you have Office Home & Business 2024, this version includes the Outlook desktop application.

To install Office 2024 after uninstalling Office 365, follow these steps:

    1. Uninstall Previous Versions: Ensure that all previous versions of Office are completely uninstalled. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Installed apps on your Windows device and removing any instances of Office.
    2. Restart Your Computer: After uninstalling, restart your PC to ensure that all changes take effect.
    3. Sign in to Your Microsoft Account: Open a web browser and go to the Microsoft account services page at https://account.microsoft.com/services. Sign in using the Microsoft account that you used to purchase Office 2024.
    4. Locate Office 2024: Under the Services & subscriptions section, find Office 2024 listed there. If you don’t see it, you may have redeemed the key under a different account, so check other Microsoft accounts you own.
    5. Download the Installer: Next to Office 2024, click Install and then select Install on this device. This will download the installer for the one-time purchase version of Office.
    6. Run the Setup File: Open the downloaded file (usually named Setup.exe) and follow the prompts to install Office 2024.
    7. Activate Office: After installation, open any Office application like Word or Excel. When prompted, sign in with the same Microsoft account you used in Step 3. You should see a message indicating that Office 2024 is activated.

If you continue to experience issues with the system not being available, ensure that your internet connection is stable and try again. If the problem persists, consider checking for any service outages or contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.
